This class is designed for those who are interested in bikes, but haven't taken the plunge into working on bikes. It's set up as a series of 4 one-hour classes, Tuesday evenings in June.
Topics to be covered will be chain cleaning/inspection, patching a flat tire, changing/adjusting brake pads, adjusting derailleurs and wheel truing. These techniques are useful for every rider to understand.
Also, keep in mind that we have our clinics at Annie's Ace Hardware (Saturdays from noon to 3pm) and Bloomingdale Farmer's Market (Sundays from 11am to 1pm). The clinics are another great way to connect up, learn some of the basics and get your bike tuned up at the same time.
